The Cassis Guest Artist series continues a new artist opening on Monday, January 7. Drop by for $7 wine flights and experience the contemporary abstract paintings of Hawaii artist Linda Spadaro. The installation will be completed this weekend and opening Monday, January 7th.

Also on January 7 -- the Cassis Wine Bar will be the location for guitarist Andy McKee's only Hawaii concert. 6 p.m. $30. Reservations 545-8100. www.andymckee.com

January 19, join us for Strictly Pinot, an engaging wine dinner with commentary by Sommelier Collin Darrell. $65. Reservations 545-8100.

About Cassis:

Overlooking shimmering Honolulu Harbor, the casual eatery exudes a tropical urban vibe. The menu is inspired by Chef Mavro's roots in the Mediterranean fishing village of Cassis and his love of everything Hawaii, especially
Chinatown. French bistro specialties with an Island twist include: Rotisserie Chicken hulihuli style, plum wine sauce, with Chef Mavro's famous garlic Kahuku creamed corn and braised swiss chard; and Steak Frites, black angus bavette, Manoa lettuce and curried fries; and Grilled Day-Boat Catch, spinach, ogo-herb sauce, all with carefully selected wine pairings. The Cassis Wine Bar showcases pupus and wine pairings, a full bar, and pau hana specials from 4-7 p.m. Monday-Friday
