Platform Hnl is a gathering for creative and entreprenureal spirits to share and connect with the like minded individuals in their community. We give a platform to artsists of all types to put their work on display through digital projectors, art displays, and live painting. Event attendees are encouraged not just to connect with the art and the artist, but also to connect with those around them - sharing ideas, spreading their roots, and developing connections.

For half an hour during each event we lower the music and open the stage to anyone from the community to get on stage and speak to an audience of their peers for 1 minute. However they decide to use this time is up to them and is subject to the scrutiny (or praise) of the audience. The hope is that people will use this opportunity to introduce themselves, their skills, or their projects in order to take meaningful action towards success and contribute towards a successful and vibrant community in so doing.

(we will no longer be accepting performance pieces for this segment of the event. If you are a performance artist and would like to participate in the event - send us a message)

We currently have space for potentially 2 more studio artists or photographers to display their creations, as well as 1 digital artist or photographer to have their own "private gallery" on our mini-projector.

As always, the projector above the stage is open to visual artists and if there is enough interest we will open it up to a live hashtag feed for Twitter and IG posts.

Regardless of skill or industry we invite you to come be a part of this rapidly growing network.. If you are interested in getting involved contact us for access to our Slack channel.

NEW: PERSONAL PROJECTOR!

We feel that there are many of you who have content to show, but it mostly lives online or on social media. We will start having 2 or 3 projectors available for you to use. Show a never ending loop, all your short films, or even your entire Instagram account. This should enable all new form of digital media and art to be showcased. If this is you, hit us up!

LAUNCHPAD

Do you have a project or an idea you have been dying to tell the world about? Maybe you need that missing link to finally finish that short film? This is the section where you can pitch an idea or just share something on your mind. This is how you can get involved with projects or find like minded people, we hope that by providing a space like this people can connect with each other and take action.

#PLATFORMHNL

By tagging your content with #platformhnl, you are adding to the growing collection and snapshots of this project. We will also archive and host all submissions in an online community gallery (URL TBD). We also showacse submissions that are tagged and have a live feed of the tag at the event.

$5.00 DONATION

Up to now, we've thrown these art hoe downs out of our own pockets and the pockets of the artists (ouch!). There are so many things we want to do that will elevate Platform to what we envision, but we need your help. If you enjoy our events, please help the cause!
