JAMES MCCARTHY Nows the new Later at FIRST FRIDAY

Join us at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum October 5, 2012 for First Friday 6 PM - 9 PM. Singer/ songwriter/storyteller James McCarthy returns to HiSAM this First Friday to unveil his latest solo recording, Now's the New Later.

James just returned from a month long sojourn to the East Coast, performing in venues from Baltimore to Boston. His songs and stories garnered glowing audience raves, as did his latest album. Always adaptable and responsive to his audience, James will make sure there is something for everyone for this musical event with music ranging from Celtic to blues, jazz to singalongs and story songs that thrill children and enchant adults.

The Hawai‘i State Art Museum would like to thank the Pacific Fleet Rock Band for a great night of classic and contemporary hits for this past First Friday in September. It was truly a treat
and an honor to have them here!
