 Claudia de Leon, a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant who served two tours in Iraq as a photojournalist., offers a glimpse into the immediate aftermath of combat.
A photo collection of about 65 pictures depicting life at Bravo Surgical, Camp Fallujah, Iraq during 2004. The Naval medical unit, made up of sailors from throughout the United States, provided limb and life-saving emergency services for numerous service members and civilians. The exhibit includes images of corpsmen, nurses, and doctors during their daily routine, while treating Marines, sailors and civilians. There are also some current photos of a few of the members.
Currently Claudia is enrolled at Hawaii Pacific University and working on her first book. TINA YOUNG will be back from a Mainland tour at her table offering her special homemade Luscious Lanikai jams and Jellies. Featured will be Hayden Mango Jam and Cranberry-Orange Marmalade.
