Somewhere between tapestry and jewelry, her magnificent “Quiet Oboes” adorn the space in a brilliant free-floating way. The “Quiet Oboe” is the quiet American cousin to the Australian Didgeridoo, an aboriginal musical instrument, hollowed of local Australian wood by termites, and colorfully painted. The music of the “Quiet Oboe” is visual, and like the Didgeridoo, no two are exactly alike. Each is an original.

 COLOR ME DEViNE showroom & gallery is Honolulu's first and only "paint boutique" featuring and celebrating DEViNE Color Paint products. We are a showroom for DEViNE Color Paint, as well as a workshop space and gallery that will feature classes and workshops on faux finishing, murals, and tromp l'oeil paint techniques. Previously selling mostly to the trade, we (owner Judy Dawson and designer J.R. Ludlow) are excited to bring an eco-friendly interior paint alternative to the public.
We specialize in color design and consultation for the color-phobic and paint-shy public. We both believe that paint is the quickest and most cost-effective renovation you can do to enhance and transform your home. Both of us come from strong and developed art and design backgrounds as well as many years of kitchen & bath design, home remodeling, and construction.
