Travis Weller: He sometimes gets the chance to surf the relentless sandbars of Ocean Beach in between, which makes him smile ear to ear. Travis has smashed through a myriad of the best art programs on the East Coast arming himself with a Master’s degree in printmaking and drawing, sometimes referred to as “screenprintcrushology”. Having been known to hand pull 1,200 zine covers and 4-dozen t-shirt designs in an evening, Travis does not stop until his work his done.....(perfectly, by the way). Arriving in California via the coast of North Carolina, he is armed with an East Coast mentality of letting his work ethic speak for his work, and his work speak for himself. While Travis has been compared to a machine, it has been proven that when a machine has a heart, he is no longer working for the man.

Travis has shown and continues to show his work at galleries and museums around the country. While collaborating on an asiwouldsay collective group show in San Francisco in 2008, Travis was asked to join the collective, and relocated to San Francisco soon after. He has been heavily involved with asiwouldsay ever since; creating artwork, designing logos, printing zines, printing clothing, while sharing meals and cans of Budweiser. Currently, Travis curates bi-monthly art happenings at asiwouldsay gallery, located at 141 Gough Street in San Francisco. Yep, he is busy.....but would love to talk to you about any kind of artistic collaboration, and looks forward to it.

EMERGING ARTIST: BIANCA CHAVEZ. Born in the fog--Blanketed over me, drunk in through my skin, allowed to obscure all but the cloudiness of a whirling mind. Sometimes I paint, watching the dead dance in the caverns of my chest, enraptured with the rhythm of the images I find there. But mostly I dream, dream to realize form and lose it, to build a world out of the sound of waves, fog, twigs, inkwells, and honey and wake up from it. Drink a cup of tea, read a poem, spin around in circles and fall down. Get back up again.

Emerging Artist: Carol Tagawa...more info to come...

There is something in their voices so refreshing yet timeless; Alixa and Naima are artists of the words the world is thirsty for.

CLIMBING POETREE cont...With roots in Haiti and Colombia, Alixa and Naima reside in Brooklyn and track footprints across the country and globe on a mission to overcome destruction with creativity. Michael Hamilton: Is the Goat God Pan. A new performance featuring nymphs. Orations shall be called out and interactive dance will happen.

THE FOOL TRUTH is one man show is dedicated to the fool within. The Fool is MC See, he sings, raps, and riddles the stage with original rhymes. The speeches are penned in the spirit of traveling players, and mystic poets who cast answers as questions, and question all answers. It is a psychological satire, flipping reality into absurdity and back around.

THE MC: MC SeE is writing these words. He paints pictures, spits sermons, makes mirth, gets giddy, in a lucid lyrical loose lipped language linking rap n’ poetry, classic & karmic soliloquies.
