SunStar captures an image and makes it beautiful, whether it is a surfer on a wave or children on a beach. The ordinary becomes extraordinary through his use of color and light. The blue of the water makes it all too inviting, and the red of an apple is so vibrant against the water that the forms of contrasting colors become strong. It is hard to imagine that such colors and forms exist in a photograph.
Toys for Tots
 The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.
Therefore beginning with the First Friday in November and continuing thru December we will collect Toys for Tots at Pacific Traditions Gallery, 19 N. Pauahi Street. 741-4612
For people who are coming to the Arts District on First Friday, November 7th please bring a new unwrapped “Toy for Tots” and drop off at anyone of the galleries listed below:
