"In Celebration of Haloa: A Lo`i Inspired Exhibition"

Hakipu`u Learning Center has gathered art work from their students and the community to put together a Lo`i inspired art show.Ê Their works are inspired by the Lo`i (taro patches) that they have personally restored by hand.Ê

The art work is in celebration of Haloa, the first kalo.Ê We want to encourage people within the community to think about the Lo`i and realize it is our kuleana to take care of the taro patches and these gifts from our Kupuna.

Active lifestyle, environmental aggressors, and daily fatigue all contribute to the breakdown of inner peace.Ê Therefore on First Friday, The Pacific Traditions Gallery will be totally transformed into the Café of Organic Sorbets and drinks.

“Cafe of Organica Sorbets and Drinks” offers 100% organic fruit juices and fabulous agave-sweetened organic gourmet sorbet.Ê The Mango sorbet, which is made from fruit picked from the trees, is heavenly.Ê The Lilikoi orange guava drink is rich in antioxidants and an excellent source of Vitamin C and an array of other drinks are available.
