Description/Comments
Kicking off the new year, the January One Night Stand in the Mendonca Building's Courtyard will be celebrating Windward YOUTH. The artists of the future actually are the emerging artists of today. Names and media will be announced on First Friday.

Rick Pettit, well known for his striking paintings of marine animals is bringing student work from his art classes at King Intermediate School in Kaneohe.Ê

Alicia Rogan, who teaches art at Castle High School, will be presenting work from her art classes. Come and support these young artists and remember where you saw them first!!

Daunna's Art Studio of Kailua will again be showing a representative sample of the works of its students. This will be the third annual appearance in the Courtyard for these very talented students. Included this year are Elizabeth and Gabrielle Polendey, Emily and Max Wright, Sarah Yiu, Samantha and Gabriela Caps and Eva Armsden.

Originial art work is displayed and Box Dinners are provided for sale by Kate Wagner in the Starpoint Café.

Fred Gayagas will be back to share his wonderful old and new Hawaiian tunes and interact with the Courtyard visitors.

Enter into the Chinatown Courtyard on Smith Street through the Blue Dragon Gate (across the street from Little Village Restaurant). This event is free and open to the public.
Featuring Windward YOUTH, Rick Pettit, Alicia Rogan, Daunna's Art Studio of Kailua and more...
