Visual ART
Featured Artist: DarK SeVier is a poet, artists, plant innovator...his new work features the bones of dead things re-cast into mobiles that dangle with an organic, symmetrical beauty. Dark had his work shown at The Arts at Marks in 2005. He was host of the Dark Show, at Red Elephant and open mIC at India Cafe. He resides in Waimanalo where he grows all kinds of plants in the continued effort to a make a living from growing organic.
Dark's art is a unique manifestation of patience, and passion. His intuitive understanding of the organic world, and rejection of standardized thinking give his work a rooted vibe that challenges the viewer to ask "Am I really aLiVE, or am I an imitation of a safer less genuine self?"
