PACIFIC TRADITIONS GALLERY
“Details coming soont”

Pacific Traditions Gallery proudly presents “Landscapes and Textiles”
by the renown landscape designer, artist and author Stephen Haus

A retrospective of garden designs, and textile featuring performances by the Shakti Dancers, in costumes by the artist. “The source of my work is the natural world, the found object, butterfly wings, the colors of fish, and the beauty of Hawaii nei”.

Stephen Haus has designed gardens, in the tropical zone, around the world. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, and on Martha Stewart and House and Garden Television. He has received the Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture, and was a Henry Luce Scholar in Kyoto, Japan.

The textile designs of Stephen Haus have been shown at “The Artists of Hawaii”
Exhibition at the Academy of Arts, featured on Austrian National Television, and sold at Nieman Marcus.

Stephen Christopher Haus will be available to autograph his book “Gardens of Hawaii.

The book has large, beautiful color photos with succinct text. Includes photos of Honolulu Academy of Arts, Lyon Arboretum, Four Season Grand Wailea, Punchbowl, Mauna Kea Resort, Pacific Tropical Botanical Garden, and several private residences, including author's own garden and that of his mentor, May Moir. “Gardens of Hawaii” makes great Christmas presents.
