BEING THERE:Recent Works By Sanit Khewhok
BEING THERE features two dozen recent oil paintings by local artist Sanit Khewhok. The painted subject matter includes sur
 real scenes, depictions of sculptures created by the artist , and garden flora.
Some paintings offer observations on social issues, and many are touched with Khewhok’s quiet humor. Khewhok, born in Thailand, studied fine arts in Bangkok and Rome, and served as curator of modern art and associate director. It is one of the newest additions to the Chinatown art scene.
