 January's First Friday “One Night Stand” in the Chinatown Courtyard on Smith Street will feature Daunna's Art Studio from Kailua for their second annual appearance. The Studio has been in operation for 32 years and is unique because it is based on individual instruction within a creative and synergistic class environment. Students range from 6 to 96 and are of all skill levels. Teachers as well as their students at the Studio will be showing their combined works during the January Gallery Walk.
Mike Kelso will offer exquisite watercolors. Precision colored pencil work will be shown by Marlene Nalani, Lisa Kelso and Renee Westergaard.
Andre Yanoviak and Rebecca Kelso will present dramatic pastels.

Ceramics will be shown by Jeff Smith and collages by Sonja Smith.
Michelle Tamayose, Gerry Jobes and Anne Sage will show multimedia pieces.
The Studio says that there will be additional student work that “will amaze you” and invites you to come and stroll through the Courtyard.

Assorted dinners will be offered for sale by Starpoint Café. As usual, Al Tringali and Friends will provide Hawaiian and contemporary music. Enter the Courtyard through the gate on Smith Street as marked by the Blue Dragon and his lanterns.
