| Description/Comments |
 What: The Chinatown Chase is a treasure hunt through Chinatown and the Honolulu Culture and Arts District. Teams will begin at the Hawaii Theatre with instructions, the distribution of a first clue for each Chase team. Clever clues consisting of puzzles that must be deciphered will send participants to different area landmarks in a race to the finish line. Awards will be given for team speed, as well as team attitude and creativity. The evening will culminate with food, drink, team prizes, dancing, and a silent auction.

Attire: Red light red carpet
Where: Beginning at the beautiful Hawaii Theatre, teams will then spread over Chinatown, visiting galleries, watering holes, landmarks, and restaurants as their clues lead them on.
When: Saturday, January 27, 2007.
5:30 Team check-in, warm up, hydration
6:30 Official Chase start time
7:30 Finish line, nourishment, re-hydration; cool-down to include dancing
9:30 Awards ceremony
11:00 End of Chase; Dynasty after-party begins
Who: Teams of ten people will chase clues. That could be you and nine friends/colleagues, or reserve in a smaller group and we will build a team for you.

Why: To support the operations of the Hawaii Theatre. The Hawaii Theatre Center is a
501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to operate the historic Hawaii
Theatre for the benefit of Hawai‘i’s residents and visitors. Revenues from ticket sales
and Theatre usage make up only 46% of the Theatre’s operating costs! Events such
as this one and the annual Gala in May help to make up the difference. Thank you
