The Art Board and 1170 Nuuanu Avenue Presents:

FIRST FRIDAY ON THE COURT
AUGUST THEME: "Okinawan Eisa-Dance"


"First Friday on the Court" is a place where the hundreds of residents and tourist that attend "First Friday" can find local arts and crafts, jewelry, designer clothing, food and art, art and more art!

The Art Board will provide Fort Street Mall Band and Hawaii EISA Shinyuukai for your entertainment/enjoyment from 5:30 to 9:00 PM.

About Mayumi Sato (from Japan)

"Finesse of the Continent"

Royal Copenhagen porcelain, exquisite hand painted dinnerware that is truly crème de la crème. Introducing Mayumi Sato, under the tutelage of Mr. Ishii, artisan of Royal Copenhagen of England for the past twenty years. She thinks of her dinnerware as practical art since she puts them to use for her guests depending on the occasion.

Ms. Sato teaches the art of hand painted porcelain dinnerware to an elite cadre of students, including dinner tableware setting etiquette of crystal ware and sterling silver utensils.

She will have an exhibition of her own, hand painted dinnerware this coming August, the culmination of years of study and practice.

Complimentaty refreshments will be served.
Special appearance by recognized Hawaii artist and entertainers.
