At 5om the gallery opens with a show by the WAX ART society.
(9pm-1am)
At 9pm the Our performance art will begin with an Afro-Cuban drum/chant ensemble followed immediately by a kung-fu exhibition. Our featured musical act QUADRAPHONIX makes their return to the Honolulu music scene after a hiatus of 1 year and 4 months. The Quadraphonix are considered Honolulu’s top funk-fusion Latin-jazz influenced dance band.
Culminating the evening of performances, (which has now become a First Friday tradition) will be a theater performance by the Honolulu Underground Theater Collective. H.U.T.C volume 6 will include some of Honolulu’s best slam poets, jugglers and burlesque dancers.
The (9pm-1am) event will be all ages with a $10 cover before 10pm, $12 after
