CURRENT EXHIBITIONS

We invite you to see the art exhibitions of the Hawai'i State Art Museum, which will be open every First Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. The Hawai'i State Art Museum is dedicated to presenting the largest and finest collection of works by Hawai'i artists that celebrate the diverse artistic and cultural legacy of Hawai'i.

Enriched by Diversity: The Art of Hawai'i, is a semi-permanent exhibition featuring 132 works of art by 105 Hawai'i-based artists from the Art in Public Places Collection. Inspirational themes in the installation revolve around rediscovering Hawaiian heritage, Asian roots, social consciousness, and cultural traditions.

ABOUT THE HAWAII STATE MUSEUM

The Hawai'i State Art Museum is located in No. 1 Capitol Distric Building at 250 South Hotel Street. The building is situated in the historic Hawai'i Capital Cultural District, across from 'Iolani Palace and the State Capitol.
